For the few that care about such things, the new blog round-up hasn't gone away. It was resting. And if you glance at the wee list below, you can see why. There seems precious little in the way of new start ups emerging into what we used to call the blogosphere. Perhaps I've been out of circulation a bit and haven't happened upon the newbies, or could it be this is sign of a coming crisis in political blogging? Have all the established bloggers who've made it into official punditry kicked down the ladder that got them to the top, thereby thwarting the ambitions of would-be writers? Time will tell.
1. Communist Platform (Left Unity)
2. Liverpool Class Action (Unaligned/Anarchist)
3. Margaret Thatcher ... In Loving Memory (Unaligned)
4. michellekent1 (Unaligned) (Twitter)
5. Socialism First (Labour) (Twitter)
6. The Sociological Noodle (Unaligned/Sociology) (Twitter)
7. We Want A Women's Mag (Unaligned/Feminist)
That's your lot. Just seven.
If you know of any new blogs that haven't featured before then drop me a line via the comments, email or Twitter. Please note I'm looking for blogs that have started within the last 12 months. The new blog round up usually appears on the first Sunday of every month.
